Terms and Conditions

The agreement

Abbelo is run by Abbelo LLC, a company based in Arizona. These terms are the agreement between you and us about how you can use the app.

When you create an account or use Abbelo in any way, you are agreeing to these rules and to our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement.

If you do not agree with something here, that is okay, but please do not use Abbelo. Continuing to use it means you accept these terms.

Your account

You can sign up with an email and password, or with Google or Apple. Keep your password private; you are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

Please keep your account details accurate and up to date so we can reach you about important things like billing or security.

One account per person. If we find that someone created extra accounts to claim more free access or to game the referral program, we may merge those accounts or close them.

What it costs

Abbelo is one plan, $24.99 a month. That includes 225 minutes of voice sessions with Abbelo each month, plus Tessa, every program, every mentor, every practice, and every other feature.

New members start with a 7-day free trial that includes 10 minutes of voice time each trial day. You add a payment method when the trial starts, and unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at $24.99 a month. The free trial is available once per person.

If you use up your voice minutes in a given month, you can buy more for $10 per 90 minutes. Those top-up minutes never expire. Your monthly plan minutes reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

All prices are in US dollars. If you join at a founding price while we are still onboarding early members, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active; the public price afterward may be higher. We will always tell you before any price change that would affect you.

Billing and renewal

On the web, payments are processed by a secure payment processor. If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, payment is handled by Apple or Google under their rules.

Your plan renews automatically each month on the same date you first subscribed. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method every month until you cancel.

If a payment fails, we may try again and may pause your access until it goes through. One-time top-ups are charged only once, at the time you buy them.

Canceling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Settings. Canceling stops your next charge; it does not refund the month you have already paid for, and you keep your paid access until the end of that billing period.

We do not provide partial refunds for unused time or for voice hours you did not use during a month.

If you believe you were charged in error, email us and we will look into it and make it right where appropriate.

What Abbelo gives you

Abbelo is a tool for personal growth. It starts with Meet Abbelo, a first conversation that maps where you are across health, wealth, relationships, and purpose, and the life you want. Your membership includes Programs (courses, daily practices, mentor sessions, and stacks that bundle them together), and Tessa, which reads where you are, the patterns shaping your results, and what is holding you back.

It also includes voice sessions with Abbelo, text chats with Abbelo and with other people, a Feed where you and the people you follow can post, Notes, Bookmarks, a Brain that quietly builds a private picture of you as you use the app, Senna for going through a program with a friend, Reports that summarize your week, and a daily Checklist.

We add, change, and retire features over time as the app improves. We may also set reasonable limits to keep the service running well for everyone.

Your content

Everything you put into Abbelo belongs to you: your voice sessions, chats, feed posts, notes, bookmarks, the commitments you make, the programs you build, your profile bio, and your replies.

You grant us permission to store, copy, display, and process your content so the app can work for you. That includes powering Tessa and your Brain, showing your feed posts to the people you chose to share them with, writing your Tessa read, building your personal model, and improving the app in ways that do not identify you.

You can delete your content in the app at any time. When you do, our permission to use that content ends, except for copies we are required to keep by law or that remain in routine backups for a short time.

For creators

You can publish your own programs on Abbelo and earn from them.

When a member buys one of your programs, you keep 90% and Abbelo keeps 10%, a 90/10 profit split. We pay you through our payment processor, to a bank account you link inside the app.

You are responsible for what your programs say, for having the rights to anything you upload, and for any taxes on what you earn. You must not publish content you do not own or have permission to use.

Sharing Abbelo with others

Every account has a personal invite link. When someone joins through your link and pays for a plan, you earn a one-time cash bonus on their first payment.

The bonus rate is 10% at Starter, 15% once you have 25 paying referrals (Silver), and 20% once you have 50 paying referrals (Gold). We pay these in cash through our payment processor. Each bonus is held for 30 days after your referral pays, in case they request a refund, and we pay out once you have at least $25 in cleared earnings.

Referring yourself, creating fake accounts, paying people to sign up without genuinely choosing to, or any other manipulation will not be paid and may result in your account being closed.

Acceptable use

We keep these rules so the community stays safe and the app keeps working for everyone.

Do not use Abbelo to break the law, to harass, threaten, or harm anyone, to share sexual content involving minors, to impersonate someone else, to spam, or to scrape, copy, or overload the service. Do not attempt to reverse engineer the app, to extract its prompts or other internal components, or to use Abbelo to train, benchmark, or build a competing AI product.

Do not upload content you do not have the rights to. Breaking these rules can lead to losing access, as described below.

Suspension and termination

If you break these rules, we may warn you, remove certain features, suspend your account, or close it, depending on what happened.

Serious or repeated violations may result in closure without warning. If we close your account for breaking the rules, we do not refund amounts you have already paid.

You can close your own account at any time from Settings.

No guarantees about results

Abbelo is provided to you as it is and as it is available. We cannot promise the app will always be available, free of bugs, or fit for a particular purpose, and we disclaim those warranties to the fullest extent the law allows.

Abbelo is a tool for learning and growth. It is not therapy, medical care, legal advice, or financial advice.

What you get out of Abbelo depends on the effort and honesty you bring to it.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Abbelo LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential harms such as lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the app.

If we are found liable for anything despite the above, the most we would ever owe you in total is the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Indemnity

If a third party brings a claim against Abbelo LLC because of content you posted, something you did with the app, or your breach of these terms, you agree to defend us and cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves and as the law changes.

When we make a significant change, we will email you or post a notice inside the app before it takes effect.

Continuing to use Abbelo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Before starting any formal dispute, you agree to email us first at support@abbelo.com and to try in good faith to resolve it for at least 30 days. If we still cannot agree, both sides agree to settle the dispute through binding private arbitration in Arizona rather than in court, and you agree not to participate in a class action against us.

Either side may still go to court for matters involving intellectual property, such as the misuse of copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.
